How to learn a new skill in thirty minutes a day
A practical routine for beginners with limited time.
You do not need several free hours to start improving a skill. A focused half-hour can help when the practice is deliberate.
Split your session
Spend five minutes revising yesterday’s lesson, fifteen minutes practising a small concept, and ten minutes building or testing something yourself.
Keep a learning log
Write down what you attempted, where you got stuck, and one thing to try tomorrow. This helps you avoid repeating the same mistakes.
Measure outcomes
A project, solved problem or short explanation is a stronger signal of improvement than the number of videos you watched. Choose attainable weekly milestones and revise the plan as needed.
