How to build a study plan you can actually follow
A realistic study routine starts with priorities, short sessions, and weekly review.
A study plan is useful only when it fits your real day. Begin by writing down your subjects and identifying which topics feel most difficult. Give more time to those topics instead of splitting every hour equally.
Start small and stay consistent
Choose one or two clear goals for each session. For example, rather than writing ‘study maths,’ write ‘practice ten division questions and review mistakes.’ This makes progress measurable.
Use active recall
Close your notes and explain the topic aloud or answer practice questions from memory. Re-reading feels easy, but recalling information is what helps you spot gaps.
Review every week
At the end of the week, check what you completed. Move unfinished work to realistic future slots, and keep one short session for revisiting older topics. Consistency matters more than an impressive but impossible timetable.
